Mr Roy Bertrand
Mr Roy Bertrand is the Focus Martial Arts chief examiner,
a 6th Degree black belt and international instructor.
Mr Bertrand helped coach the British squad in the 90’s,having
4 of his Black belt students in the Junior & Senior
British Squads at one time, coaching a European &
World Champion.
His most treasured memory was grading for his 4th Dan
before a panel that included; the Founder of Tae Kwon-Do,
General Choi Hong-Hi 9th Dan & Grand Master Rhee Ki-Ha
9th Dan OCM, plus a further 3 Masters. To perform and
have ‘The Founder’ personally pass me for my 4th Dan,
was an honour.
Ms Jackie Kenning
I have been training and Tae Kwon-Do for over 10 years
and hold a 2nd Dan Black Belt in ITF Tae-Kwon Do, and
a 2nd Dan Black Belt in the Superfoot System awarded by
Bill ‘Superfoot’ Wallace in 2009. I’ve been teaching Tae
Kwon-Do to children and adults of mixed ability for 5
years.
Mr Andy Taylor
I have been training and various martial arts for over
25 years, and Tae Kwon-Do for over 10 years and hold a
2nd Dan Black Belt in ITF Tae-Kwon Do, and a 2nd Dan Black
Belt in the Superfoot System awarded by Bill ‘Superfoot’
Wallace in 2009.
I have over a decade of experience in the security industry,
working as a door supervisor in a variety of clubs during
the 1980’s and 90’s.
I’ve won a number of national competitions, winning patterns,
destruction and sparring when I was actively competing
in Tae Kwon-Do tournaments, and sparring (semi contact/light
continuous) in Freestyle competitions.
